The Greater Kyalami Conservancy (GEKCO) aims to represent residents who appreciate the natural habitat within the region and would also like to  preserve and conserve a relatively rural way of life in an area which sustains several endangered species, wetlands and ridges as well as one of the highest densities of horses and a thriving equine industry.

Fireworks By-Laws: Fireworks should not be used at all in agricultural areas like Kyalami with its large horse and domestic animal populations. Please read the attached statement about the by-laws on fireworks.

GEKCO’s GOAL:

To conserve, sustain and share the ecology and natural character of greater Kyalami
